Deep Roots Class

It feels like a storm is brewing in our country and our world--rising authoritarianism, political violence, climate change, the list goes on. Many of us are afraid and angry or we’re numbing and avoiding. These responses are understandable. I’ve been feeling them too.

Also, each of us has the natural capacity to deepen our roots into the ground of our own Core Self, our most solid source of courage, peace, and confidence.

In this class, we will practice ways to access our own groundedness that cannot be shaken by the uncertainty of these times. From this groundedness, we will welcome the parts of ourselves feeling fear, anger, hopelessness, numbness, and more. We will learn how to process and express these feelings, so they don’t overwhelm us, and so we can act in the world from compassion and confidence.

This class 6-week class is based on the IFS framework, and anyone interested in parts work, with any experience level, is welcome.

Corey Busch, an experienced IFS practitioner and spiritual teacher, facilitates this highly experiential class, focused primarily on shared practice and communal processing.
